The question posed was "How can I use layers as an application?".
The answer is easy. As a florist by trade, I can use layers to place my floral creations anywhere I want them. I could take a fabulous, designer centerpiece and place it on a table in a magnificent ball room. I could show customers what my flower arrangements will look like in their homes, or I could place a bridal bouquet in the hands of a potential bride to see how it will look. The uses is limitless for what I can do with layers.

First Blog EVER
I really don't know why this scares me so. I guess it's because this blog will be going out into cyberspace for anyone who wants to find it. That is really weird to me, maybe even a little presumptuous. Presumptuous to think that anyone really cares enough to search me out and read what I have to say. I mean, come on, I grew up in an age of no cell phone, no computers, no global communications, and look at us now. I find it to be a little unsettling to see how far things have come in such a short span of time. No, I'm not going to say how old I am, but I will say that I'm not "Thirty Something" anymore. That's scary too, but we'll talk about that another time. Back to this cyberspace issue...it's freaky, it's scary and I love the idea. I'm just a little hesitant to put myself out there. Of course, in the course of this blog I have answered my own question as to why it scares me; so I guess it's time to get over it, move on, and hit the "save now" button, followed by the "publish post"!
